Independent Bookstores in Greater Louisville Celebrate Independent Bookstore Day with 'Read for the Roses' and ‘Global Book Crawl’
Independent bookstores in the Greater Louisville area are coming together for a two-week celebration in honor of Independent Bookstore Day, which will be held on Saturday, April 25th. This special event, dubbed Read for the Roses, will feature local favorites, including Carmichael’s Bookstores, Carmichael’s Kids, Foxing Books, A Novel Romance, Butcher Cabin Books, Set & Setting, The Rosewater, Nook & Nowhere, and Byway Books.
From April 20th to May 3rd, customers are invited to pick up a special Read for the Roses passport at any participating bookstore. By visiting these stores, customers will earn a stamp for each stop, with each visit providing one entry toward the grand prize. The grand prize includes a $25 gift card to each participating store, along with other exciting prizes. To qualify, participants must fill out a form after their visits and provide proof of participation.
In addition to celebrating Independent Bookstore Day, the participating bookstores will also be joining in the Global Book Crawl from April 20th to 26th. This worldwide event celebrates independent bookshops and the vibrant communities of book lovers who support them. As part of the Global Book Crawl, bookstore patrons are encouraged to visit their local independent bookstores and engage in a global celebration of reading and community.

With eggy car, you start thinking it’s easy, then one wrong move sends the egg flying and suddenly you’re fully invested in beating your last distance.
I love seeing independent bookstores collaborate like this. It creates a unique experience for readers while supporting local businesses at the same time. There’s something really special about that kind of community effort. It feels similar to how I enjoy Block Blast, where simple things can still be engaging and satisfying.
The Read for the Roses and Global Book Crawl are wonderful initiatives for literacy! While coordinating such a large-scale event isn't as simple as playing Easy Games, it brings the community together beautifully. A perfect way to celebrate books!
Different opponents in Speed Stars bring varying levels of difficulty. Each race requires adapting to speed changes and pressure. The gameplay becomes more competitive as players advance. Mistakes become more punishing in higher levels. Smooth execution is the key to victory. Consistent practice helps improve reaction timing significantly.
This is a great paper for me. I bookmark this and will come back to read new posts. Retro games unblocked.
