Building upon a nearly 75-year legacy, The Voice-Tribune has long been a trusted voice and reflection of Louisville’s vibrant and diverse community. Under the thoughtful leadership of Amelia Frazier Theobald, we are committed to representing every facet of our city—from its historic neighborhoods to its bustling downtown, its trailblazing entrepreneurs to its resilient working-class families. Our mission is to foster genuine connections and celebrate the real stories that shape Louisville.

The word “tribune” originates from the Roman office of “The Champion of the People.” True to this legacy, we strive to be a publication that amplifies the voices of all Louisvillians. We honor the contributions of our city’s artists, athletes, activists, philanthropists, educators, students, volunteers, and workers who define its unique character. From Smoketown to St. Matthews, Shawnee to NuLu, Portland, Butchertown, Crescent Hill, Clifton, Germantown, Old Louisville, Highlands, Okolona, Valley Station, Fairdale, Fern Creek, Lyndon, Jeffersontown, Middletown, Anchorage, Prospect, Pleasure Ridge Park, Hurstbourne, Douglass Hills, and all the neighborhoods that make up Jefferson County, we are committed to capturing the authentic spirit of Louisville’s communities.

With our new monthly release, The Voice-Tribune will feature stories that dig deeper into the lives of the people who power this city—stories that highlight grassroots efforts, local triumphs, and the everyday resilience that make Louisville extraordinary. Our articles will be paired with evocative imagery and narratives that reflect the true diversity and vibrancy of the city we call home.

As we approach our diamond anniversary, we invite you to join us in this journey. Together, we will honor our shared past while embracing the future with honesty, innovation, and a commitment to every story—big or small—that makes Louisville shine.

Sincerely,
The Voice-Tribune Team
