Editors Note - July 2026

By: Alisha Proffitt

Weddings remain one of our most enduring cultural rituals. They offer a rare public acknowledgment of private commitment, where togetherness is both witnessed and affirmed by community. What endures is not the perfection of the event, but the sense that love, in its most grounded form, is a practice of choosing and re-choosing each other within the ordinary day-to-day ups and downs of shared life.

I hope those who may be looking to make that promise find inspiration in these pages.

Take care,
