Press Release BoomBozz

Louisville-born, award-winning pizza brand marks October 20 with anniversary specials and a chance to win Free Pizza for a Year.

What began as a 14-seat pizza restaurant in St. Matthews in 1998 has become one of Louisville’s recognizable homegrown restaurant brands. On Tuesday, October 20, BoomBozz will celebrate its 28th anniversary with free pizza, special offers, a Beat the Clock contest and the grand reopening of its remodeled Highlands restaurant.

The anniversary theme is “28 YEARS. 28 SECONDS. FREE PIZZA FOR A YEAR.”

At BoomBozz Highlands, 1448 Bardstown Road, dine-in guests can receive a free small one-topping pizza from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The restaurant will also showcase its refreshed interior, bar and patio. From 3 p.m. to close, Highlands will offer $10 Medium Famous Pizza Pies. $2 Boom Brew beers and the Beat the Clock contest will be available throughout the day.

Other participating Louisville-area BoomBozz locations will offer $10 Medium Famous Pizza Pies, $2 Boom Brew beers and Beat the Clock throughout their regular operating hours.

A 28-Second Challenge with Pizza for a Year at Stake

Each dine-in guest gets one attempt to start and stop a digital timer. Stop it at exactly 28.00 seconds and win Free Pizza for a Year - one small one-topping pizza each week for 52 weeks. Each participating location will award one grand prize.

Guests who stop the timer at exactly 27.99 seconds win a $100 gift card; 27.98 seconds wins $50; and 27.97 seconds wins $25. There is no limit on the number of qualifying gift-card winners. Exact times are required, and each dine-in guest is limited to one attempt.
