PACK THE SACK

For years, Blessings in a Backpack has been quietly fighting childhood hunger, ensuring that students who rely on school meals don’t go without when the weekend arrives. During the 2024–2025 school year, the organization provided more than 212,000 hunger-free weekends to over 5,500 local children, a powerful reminder of both its impact and the work still to be done. Pack the Sack 2026 Games channels that mission into an engaging evening to help feed school-aged children across Louisville. Guests took part in live and silent auctions, a popular bourbon pull, and culinary tastings from local chefs, all designed to turn participation into impact. The goal is simple but powerful, to provide hunger-free weekends for JCPS students.
