KMAC Couture: Art Walks the Runway returned on March 28, 2026 at the KMAC Contemporary Art Museum, once again transforming fashion into wearable art. This year’s theme, ANCESTOR, explored heritage and identity through bold, conceptual runway designs. As KMAC Museum’s signature fundraiser, the event featured emerging and established artists, designers, and milliners presenting original couture pieces as living works of art. For the evening, part of Main Street was shut down to hold the annual artistic show. Chaired by Sarah Ahmad, Trina O’Brien, and Diana Robbins, the event blended creativity with community support, with all proceeds benefiting KMAC’s exhibitions and educational programs.
