I RISE: AN EVENING WITH NEW DIRECTIONS

New Directions held the I Rise Gala at the Mellwood Art Center to honor the organization’s impactful programs. The event spotlighted the transformative Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program and showcased the full spectrum of New Directions’ services, including home repairs through Repair Affair, senior support via Resident Services, quality affordable housing, and the I Rise program helping residents achieve long-term self-sufficiency, market-rate housing, and homeownership. Attendees heard inspiring stories from program participants, enjoyed a memorable dining experience, and engaged with captivating speakers uplifted by the organization’s mission. The evening also featured art displays by residents, informational sessions about New Directions’ work, and opportunities to support its ongoing growth.
