Guests gathered at the Olmsted for the Gallop for the Gift event, which was dedicated to adoption, inclusion, and love. The evening featured Rhonda Richins, a devoted advocate and mother of six, including two adopted children with Down syndrome. Her story, marked by resilience following the loss of two cherished children, highlighted the profound impact of belonging and the incredible gift of adoption. Rhonda’s daughters, Raegan and Rylyn, initiated the “Be Kind” effort, which transformed La Grange, KY, into the Kindness Capital of Kentucky— proof that small gestures of kindness can spark significant change. The event raised funds to support adoption grants across Kentucky and was complemented by a delightful dinner and drinks. Every cent raised was directed toward helping children find their forever families in Kentucky.
