AN EVENING IN THE GARDEN

Farmington held its annual summer event and 65th Anniversary Homecoming Dinner where guests enjoyed appetizers, drinks, dinner and a program. This year, Farmington honored the Chair of the Board of Regents, Bob Brand. The historic home at Farmington officially opened its doors to the public in 1959, saved for preservation by a group of community leaders. For the 65th anniversary of the opening, Farmington invited former staff and Board members, descendants of the Speed family and of those enslaved on the property, volunteers, past Anne Haldeman award winners and the general public.
