CHICKASAW TENNIS COURT CELEBRATION

The Olmsted Parks Conservancy, West Louisville Tennis Club, and Louisville Parks and Recreation hosted the Chickasaw Tennis Court Celebration at Chickasaw Park. The event marked the completion of a $466,000 renovation of the park’s tennis courts. The celebration included a networking session, followed by honors for the West Louisville Tennis Club where community elders and key contributors were recognized for their roles in the club’s success. Attendees then gathered to hear speaker remarks, culminating in an announcement that the Olmsted Parks Conservancy received a transformative $5 million anonymous donation that will be used to restore Chickasaw Park.
