CAMPBELL OVERLOOK GRAND OPENING

The new overlook in Cherokee Park, known as The Campbell Overlook, was officially opened to visitors. The overlook was designed in keeping with Frederick Law Olmsted’s principles to highlight the expansive views of the surrounding landscape. It is situated in the Chauffeur’s Rest area, one of the park’s most biodiverse zones, home to a variety of native plants and pollinators. The improvements were made possible through a generous gift in memory of Christian L. Campbell, donated by his family—Heather, Amelia, and Colleen.
