BROKEN WINGS STILL FLY

The (Un)Known Project and Alberta O. Jones Park hosted a showing of Broken Wings Still Fly, a series of monologues based on the narratives of enslaved women in Kentucky. Co-authored by Brandi LaShay and Hannah Drake, Broken Wings Still Fly is a theatrical experience featuring the voices of hidden heroines. The event included collaborative mural painting, food trucks, and the launch of the (Un)Known Project coloring book.
