Scene & Snapped: This week in parties, supporters of District Judge Angela McCormick Bisig attended a cocktail party at the home of Glenn Hogan, swim fans packed in to watch the 2012 Country Club Swim Asssociation Championships at the Louisville Country Club, bikers and caring citizens supported Kosair Charities at Sam Swope’s 13th Annual Charity Ride Road Rally, runners raced in the Dr. Ed Morgan/Kiwanis Grand Slam 4 Mile Run and guests partied the night away at The Voice Tribune-Four Roses Bourbon Summer Luau July 19 at BBC.

Scene & Snapped: This Week In Parties, guests of The Voice-Tribune enjoyed our June Third Thursday Party at Napa River Grill, the Kickoff 4 Kids Gala celebrated Amobi Okoye’s foundation and Big Brothers, Big Sisters Club of Louisville, music-lovers had a blast on the waterfront at outdoor music festival Forecastle, fans cheered on Louisvillian Wil Heuser at a “”Big Brother” Watch Party at Big Bar and popular television journalist Barry Bernson held a talk and book signing at Carmichael’s Bookstore.

Scene & Snapped: This week in parties, meat-lovers enjoyed a barbeque competition at Blues, Brews and BBQs, visitors tasted locals brews and wines at Louisville Brewfest, the American Cancer Society held its Evening of Hope Gala, The Council on Developmental disabilities hosted its second annual Hope-Vision-Voice Golf Scramble, and more than 400 guests attended The Voice-Tribune’s Third Thursday After-Work Party at Napa River Grill in Westport Village.
Third Thursday After-Work Party
The Voice-Tribune hosted our monthly Third Thursday soiree last week at the Village Anchor. The get-together was also Woodford Reserve’s Double Oaked Launch Party, and what a celebration it was.
