Scene & Snapped: This week in parties, meat-lovers enjoyed a barbeque competition at Blues, Brews and BBQs, visitors tasted locals brews and wines at Louisville Brewfest, the American Cancer Society held its Evening of Hope Gala, The Council on Developmental disabilities hosted its second annual Hope-Vision-Voice Golf Scramble, and more than 400 guests attended The Voice-Tribune’s Third Thursday After-Work Party at Napa River Grill in Westport Village.

Visitors to Louisville Brewfest, held June 22 at Louisville Slugger Field, celebrated the uniqueness of Louisville’s independent brews and businesses by sampling the best of local breweries and wineries.
