The Women’s Council of Realtors Greater Louisville Chapter hosted its annual Derby fashion show and charity event on March 28 at The Olmsted.
The Voice-Tribune celebrated “Louisville’s Largest Birthday Party” with the American Cancer Society (ACS) at The Voice-Tribune’s Third Thursday After-Work Party held March 21 at 60 West Bistro & Martini Bar in St. Matthews.
“Get a table – Try not to end up under it.” The provocative slogan is just one of many featured in the ad campaign for the second annual Unbridled Eve Gala, which promises an evening of A-list celebrities, first-class musical performances and a multitude of features all benefiting a great cause.
Living in the Derby City has many charms in the springtime, one of which is that there’s simply no excuse not to take advantage of the various festivities leading up to the thrilling main event – The Kentucky Derby (or at least an equestrian-themed party on the big day). After all, you’re already here, so why not take part in the fun?
The Mint Julep is practically synonymous with Derby; the Grey Goose Oaks Lily made its mark on the Kentucky Oaks, of course. But, yet to be determined is the drink of choice for Thunder Over Louisville – the official kickoff to the Kentucky Derby Festival.
