Last Friday evening, The Fillies held their 57th annual Derby Ball, A Fillies Affair to Remember, Galloping with the Fillies, at the Galt House.
Derby Ball Celebrates 53 Years of The Fillies
The Fillies will celebrate 53 years of work this year in which they have helped the Kentucky Derby Festival Committee by producing a gala Derby Ball. Each year during the ball the Derby Queen is chosen by a spin of the wheel and presented to the public with her court.
