Region 7 Championship Ballard Vs. Trinity
Ballard avenged last year’s crushing loss to Trinity in the regional semifinal, beating the Shamrocks 57-46 in the Seventh Region Tournament final hosted at Valley on March 2.
Quentin Snider led Ballard with a game-high 21 points and nine rebounds. Kelan Martin also had 18 points, 15 rebounds and three blocks for the Bruins. Trinity’s Darryl Hicks scored 18 points and six rebounds.
Snider, Martin and Lavonne Holland of Ballard, along with Trinity’s Hicks and Miles Rice made the Dr. Rudy J. Ellis Sports Medicine Center all tournament team.
