Kentucky All-Stars High School Girls’ Basketball Classic
The tables were turned at the Girls’ All-Star game, where Kentucky girls defeated the Indiana team in an incredible 75-47 victory. The Kentucky win was credited in large part to a strong and consistent defense, with which the girls held their Hoosier opponents to its second-lowest point total ever. Highlights of the game included a six-minute stretch in the first half during which Kentucky held Indiana without a single point, and a suprising 9-0 run by Indiana in the middle of the game that raised Hoosier hopes, but ultimately wasn’t enough to regain the their initial lead.
