Kentucky All-Stars High School Boys’ Basketball Classic
Despite an ultimate 90-85 loss to the Indiana team, the Kentucky All-Stars Boys’ team held their own in the High School Basketball Classic, June 8 at Freedom Hall. Kentucky’s top high school basketball players faced off against the impressive Indiana team, which included two McDonald’s All-Americans, in a game that many expected to be a short and swift defeat. Instead, the Kentucky boys came back from a 14 point deficit to take the lead late in the game, only lose their edge in the final minutes to last-minute plays by Indiana, with a final dunk to seal the deal.
