Central Vs. Ballard
Central High School defeated Ballard 19-14 on Sept. 7 in a football showdown held at Ballard’s home field.
Junior fullback Darren Powell, of Central, finished the game with 164 yards on 22 carries and scored two touchdowns, helping the two-time defending state Class 3-A champions improve to 4-0.
