2012 Kentucky Athletic Hall Of Fame
The Kentucky Athletic Hall of Fame held a banquet and ceremony on Thursday, June 7, at 6 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel to recognize the eight 2012 inductees. Those honored included Churchill Downs; ESPN football analyst and former University of Louisville coach Lee Corso; Florida State and Georgia college basketball coach Hugh Durham; president of Claiborne Farm Seth Hancock; former UofL women’s basketball star and 2009 number one draft pick by the Atlanta Dream Angel McCoughtry; Homer Rice, former head football coach of Cincinnati, Rice, Georgia Tech and the Cincinnati Bengals; former University of Kentucky basketball player Rick Robey; and Owensboro High School and UK basketball star Bobby Watson.
Proceeds from the event benefited Kosair Charities.
