WELLNESS CENTER HOSTS OPEN HOUSE AND RIBBON CUTTING

The Awaken to Wellness Center, a practice that specializes in a variety of modern alternative health techniques and services, hosted a free Open House event to celebrate its new 1,850 square foot location at 161 St. Matthews Avenue, suite 13.

The Open House was held on Thursday, Aug. 18, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and included a ribbon cutting ceremony, as well as healthy hors d’oeurves, giveaways, tours of the facility, and complimentary mini massages and cranial therapy.

The new facility is more than double its former space, allowing for expanded service offerings including two massage therapists, two craniosacral therapists, and one hypnotherapist.

The Center specializes in comprehensive wellness evaluations, spinal adjustments, saliva testing, nutrition and wellness coaching, performance nutrition, and custom orthotics. Dr. Carpenter also hosts complimentary workshops and Lunch & Learn events each month focused on a variety of topics including nutrition, exercise, and stress management. Appointments can be made Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 7:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 5:30pm each day.
