Sproutlings Takes Root
Sproutlings Pediatric Day Care & Preschool celebrated its grand opening Thursday, Sept. 1, on Masonic Homes of Kentucky’s (MHKY) Louisville campus.
The opening of the newly constructed facility marks the first time in more than two decades that children are cared for on Masonic Homes’ campus. Sproutlings will provide day care and preschool services for 120 children, from 6 weeks old to teenagers.
Up to 60 spots will focus on Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) for medically fragile children. The PPEC program includes specialized nursing care, nutritional care to meet special dietary needs and occupational, physical and speech therapies.
