Martin Luther King Jr. Day Of Service
In celebration of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Jan. 21, Olmsted Parks Conservancy invited members of the community to volunteer in one of Louisville’s oldest parks.
Volunteers took time out of their holiday to “make the day off a day on,” by picking up debris and helping to beautify Shawnee Park, which was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted in 1893.
