Gaslight Festival
The annual Gaslight Festival Arts & Crafts Extravaganza was held Sept. 16-18 in downtown Jeffersontown.
The event featured more than 200 vendors from across the country, live music, festival games and rides and plenty of food.

- U of L and UK hats were for sale.
- Tie dyed clothing for infants was available for purchase.
- The featured wines at one of the booths.
- The Street Heat Band provided musical entertainment.
- The Jeffersontown Optimist Club sponsored a basketball shooting booth.
- The Corn Dog stand was one of many food stands at the event.
- Terry Reeser and Jeff Pluhar manned a booth which sold wine.

- Stuffed animals were for sale.

- Sharon Harris worked at a booth and managed to stay out of the sun.

- Sam McNay sat up in a coffin.
- Robin Hornback, Lisa Wood, Barbara Back, and Terri Cox all wore their favorite school colors.
- Rides at the event included this rocking Pirate Ship.
- Plenty of good food was available.
- Outdoor activity included climbing a simulated rocky mountain.

- Fun was had by all ages at this event.
- Eddie and Ella VanMeter sat in front of a shop window in the shade and spent the day watching people.
- Colorful wind ornaments were featured at this booth.
- Children enjoyed the inflatable slide.
- Bob Payne had a hot job of grilling corn and meat.
- Ashton, Arnold, and Cary Holliman.
- Ashley and Renee Lord.
- Ami Patel spent time on the Jumpe Jumpe.
- A painted horse and a child exchanged hellos.
- A large late afternoon crowd spent the time walking and visiting many booths which lined the main street.
- A hay wagon was used to transport people.
- A boy enjoyed shooting a tommy gun at a target as he wore his favorite hat.
