Louisville SkylineAfter what is sure to be an exciting afternoon as the Cards and Cats square off in the Yum! Center, the next thought on everyone’s mind is sure to be where they’ll be at midnight.

Don’t let New Year’s Eve 2010 end up on your resolution list. Here are some fun options to ring in 2011. The fun doesn’t stop at midnight either – most of these locales are offering a New Year’s Day brunch as well.

Proof on Main and 21c

Why watch the ball drop anywhere other than 21c Museum Hotel, the No. 1 hotel in the U.S. as voted by Conde Nast readers? Proof on Main chef Michael Paley is offering a special prix-fixe four-course menu and champagne toast,  from 5:30 to 7 p.m. A New Year’s Eve bash in,  the 21c Atrium starts at 9 p.m. and lasts until 1 a.m. Dinner and access to the bash is $131.

If prior dinner arrangements are keeping you from Proof – no worries. Access to the bash is available for $21 plus a $10 donation to Prodigal Ministries. Special room rates are also available.

On New Year’s Day, Proof will be offering cashew sticky buns, fried chicken and waffles complete with Bloody Marys and champagne cocktails from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Seviche chef Anthony Lamas will be offering a Latin-inspired New Year’s Day brunch including a full Bloody Mary bar and Latin specialities including Puerto Rican roast pork, green chile potato egg caserole and mini chorizo egg burritos. The buffet brunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is $17 per person.
