Christopher Todd Vaughan, 33, of Louisville, returned to his heavenly Father Dec. 3, 2011, at University of Louisville Hospital as a result of an auto accident on Nov. 27, 2011.

Chris was born in Richmond, Va., on Aug. 12, 1978, and graduated from Eastern High School in 1996. As a student, he was a member of the National Honor Society, Class Officer, Beta Club, member of the band and basketball team.

He received his Bachelor of Art in Communications from Georgetown College in 2000 and was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.

He was an Assistant Vice-President at Old National Bank, served on the board of Home of the Innocents and was a member of First Baptist Church of Middletown.

Chris’s life revolved around many things he loved: He was an avid U of L basketball and football fan, as well as a fan of the New England Patriots. He also enjoyed working out at LAC and dreamed of running in the Disney Marathon.

Music played a big part in Chris’s life. He played saxophone throughout his school years, participated in Kentucky Baptist Youth Choir and sang at many events throughout high school and college. He also played guitar in his younger years, recently renewing his interest.

Chris enjoyed his family vacations to Disney, which started at a young age. In November, he introduced his baby son, Tyler, to Mickey Mouse. Chris was looking forward to the years ahead sharing the magic of Disney with him as well as putting his son on Santa’s lap for his first Christmas.
