Get into the swing of spring with a new and improved stroke from GolfTEC Louisville.
Part of the international GolfTEC franchise, GolfTEC Louisville opened in February off Hurstbourne Lane and has helped men and women develop their golf game, while also lowering their handicap.
“GolfTEC started in ‘95,” said Center Manager Kyle Newell. “They started testing the tour players – they test the men, they test the women, the tall people, the short people, whatever it may be – and…they all turn, tilt and bend the same way. So we use that as kind of a template (in our approach to improvement).”
Newell has worked for GolfTEC for more than eight years at its Dallas location, but moved to Louisville when the opportunity arose to open a site in his former hometown. He and certified personal coach, Bryan Montgomery, now run the Louisville location, which features a variety of golf merchandise and state-of-the art technology used to analyze and perfect each client’s swing.
Through video and motion measurement, Newell and Montgomery can evaluate a person’s stroke by comparing it to that of more than 150 tour players. Following the evaluation, the two then provide lessons using a ground-up, start-to-finish sequence, as well as post-lesson access via the online Player Performance Center.
Newell and Montgomery also assist clients with club selection by testing their personal results against a database of more than 1,000 club options.
GolfTEC has been heralded as the leader in golf improvement, teaching 20 percent of all lessons in the U.S. annually and delivering a consistent 95 percent success rate to more than 250,000 clients internationally.
With GolfTEC’s comprehensive approach to enhancing each golfer’s performance, you’ll be par for the course in no time and ready to impress your buddies on the green.
GolfTEC Louisville is open Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The store is located at 102 Vieux Carre Drive.
