Bobby Ellis Memorial Vigil to End Hunger

| November 29, 2012

Dare to Care and Interfaith Paths to Peace presented the annual Bobby Ellis Memorial Vigil to End Hunger on Thanksgiving Eve, Nov. 21, at Plymouth Community Renewal Center.

The candlelight vigil and silent march is a grass-roots, anti-hunger movement that formed Dare to Care more than 40 years ago following the tragic death from malnutrition of 9-year-old Bobby Ellis.

Donations of canned goods and non-perishable food were collected during the evening.
