Louisville Marriott Downtown Named No. 1 Convention Hotel At White Lodging Conference

The Louisville Marriott Downtown held top honors at last week’s White Lodging Conference, receiving a No. 1 Marriott International ranking for convention hotels in 2012 as scored by meeting and conference planners on the Marriott event satisfaction survey. Sam Swope Auto Group Receives National Awards

The Sam Swope Auto Group is proud to announce that two members of their dealership family have been bestowed with top honors within their respective brands.

Lexus of Louisville has been recognized as an Elite of Lexus dealership for 2012. This marks the 12th time they have received this coveted award in the 17 years they have been a Lexus dealer. Republic Bank Makes Banking Easier With Mobile Deposit

Republic Bank, a leader in internet and mobile banking solutions, has announced a new mobile banking feature that allows clients to conveniently deposit checks simply by snapping a picture using their iPhone or Android mobile device. Republic Bank’s Mobile Deposit, which is available to the personal banking client with access to Republic Internet Banking and an eligible deposit account, allows clients to make deposits anywhere, at any time. To deposit a check via their mobile device, the client simply selects the deposit check feature on their Republic Bank mobile app, photographs the front and back of the check, chooses the account and confirms the dollar amount. The check is then processed electronically from start to finish.

The new mobile deposit feature arrives as more consumers are choosing mobile banking services over traditional options to conveniently make deposits and receive funds faster. “It’s a very quick and secure process that saves our clients time and money,” said Michael Sadofsky, senior vice president of marketing. In addition to the mobile deposit feature, Republic’s mobile app, which is available on both iPhone and Android devices, allows clients to safely and securely pay bills, view account balances, transfer funds between accounts and locate the nearest banking center or ATM.

Triangle Talent TO Book Entertainment For Florida Strawberry Festival

The Florida Strawberry Festival has awarded a three-year agreement to Triangle Talent to book entertainment for the 2014 through 2016 festivals. The Strawberry Festival is one of the top festivals in the country and has a history of outstanding entertainment. Past acts have included Blake Shelton, Foreigner, Hank Williams Jr., Reba, Lady Antebellum, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Switchfoot and Third Eye Blind. The 2014 festival takes place from February 27 through March 9, 2014 in Plant City, Fla.

In the last 78 years, the Florida Strawberry Festival has brought fun to folks of all ages through an exciting headline entertainment line-up, competitive contests, youth events, free on-grounds entertainment, thrilling rides and, of course, delicious strawberries.
