Holiday Specials At The Bristol

This holiday season, the Bristol Bar and Grille will offer dinner specials for Hanukkah and a wine dinner to celebrate New Year’s Eve.

 

From Saturday, Dec. 8 to Saturday, Dec. 15, The Bristol at 300 N. Hurstbourne Pkwy. will offer eight days of Hanukkah dinner specials. One dish per evening will be featured on a rotating basis, and selections include salmon with local apple butter sauce and herb potato kugel (Dec. 10) and local lamb shank with apricots and couscous (Dec. 12). Pricing will range from $17 to $22 per dish. Dinner hours at the Hurstbourne Bristol are 5 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 5 to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, Dec. 31, The Jeffersonville location of the Bristol Bar and Grille will present a Pacific Northwest wine dinner in celebration of New Year’s Eve. The evening will begin at 8 p.m. with a wine reception featuring hors d’oeuvres. Master Sommelier Scott Harper will then lead a wine presentation starting at 8:30 p.m. that will accompany a four-course dinner created by chef Richard Doering. Both the menu and the wine selections for the evening are inspired by the bounty of the Pacific Northwest, a region famous for seafood and Pinot Noir. The price of the Pacific Northwest New Year’s Eve wine dinner is $175 per couple, which includes wine, tax and gratuity. There is also the option of adding a deluxe guest room at the Sheraton Louisville Riverside Hotel for an additional $110. Reservations are required with a credit card guarantee.
