Rocky is a gorgeous 6-month-old Labrador Retriever mix who can’t wait to spend time with her new best friend on jogs, chasing her favorite toy or even just lounging around the house. Because of her silky black coat, Rocky suffers from Black Dog Syndrome, simply meaning that she is not as visible to potential adopters as the dog next to her with more distinct markings. Quite often, darker colored pets remain in shelters twice as long as lighter colored pets for this reason. Let’s make sure this doesn’t happen to Rocky! She is spayed, micro-chipped and ready for her forever home. Visit her today at the Kentucky Humane Society’s Main Campus or call 502.366.3355 for more details about this energetic girl.
