Pets of the Week: Mikey

| March 21, 2013

Meet Mikey, a sweet 1-year-old who has been through a lot in her short life. She came to Kentucky Humane Society from a hoarding case in a neighboring county. Mikey is heartworm positive and cannot see very well, but she has been treated for heartworms, and her limited vision doesn’t slow her down. She is a quiet dog who is a little shy at first, but she loves getting attention once she warms up to you. She loves going for walks and getting belly rubs. Because of her history with heartworm, Mikey will need some extra loving until she is all better, but she is ready to go home with you today! She’s the perfect cuddle buddy for a lazy day on the couch or a great friend to go for walks on sunny days. Mikey is spayed, micro-chipped and all of her vaccinations are up to date. To meet her visit the Kentucky Humane Society’s Main Campus, 241 Steedly Drive. For more information call them at 502.366.3355, or view all adoptable pets at www.kyhumane.org.
