Angel is a sweet four-year-old shepherd mix who is a true survivor. In March, her owner died in a tornado in Laurel County, Ky., when her home was destroyed. Angel and her brother survived the storm, tied to a tree. It’s been so long since sweet Angel has had a family to love and she is ready to have a home to call her own. Because of the trauma, Angel is timid and fearful of new situations. She is quiet and curious, and needs time to warm up to new people and situations. Angel needs a home where she can experience consistency and love so that she can gain confidence. She does like other dogs – as long as they aren’t too rough. Angel is spayed, micro chipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. Visit her today at the Kentucky Humane Society’s Main Campus, or call 502.366.3355 for additional information.
