Derby Fashion
There’s no doubt for most of us the Kentucky Derby is the most anticipated social event on our calendar.
It’s the time of year our city kicks into high gear as host of the “most exciting two minutes in sports.”
The Derby is much more than mint juleps, hats and horse racing. It’s the experience our city gives its tourists. There’s not a guest I’ve hosted who doesn’t wish for a second invitation.
For some, the pace can be intimidating and overwhelming.
I’ve learned over the years it’s never too early to begin preparing for the Derby. Local boutiques are stocking their stores with just the right merchandise for all your Derby needs.

Willy Wonka would envy. She’s a fervent high school soccer fan (go
Collegiate!) and has the raspy voice to prove it after game days.
