What is your fashion view?

Be yourself. Don’t dress for everyone else. Be confident. Fashion is an opportunity to make a first impression on people, but if you aren’t comfortable with what you’re wearing it doesn’t matter how in style it is.

How do you describe your style?

Affordable chic.

What are your favorite pieces?

I like to pair classic foundation pieces like pencil skirts, a great pair of jeans, or a blazer with trendier pieces. However, the most important part of any outfit is the shoes!

Where is your favorite place to shop?

Anywhere! I never miss out on an opportunity to look for things I like because you never know where you’ll find your next favorite piece of clothing. I have found things I love everywhere from Target to J. Crew, or one of the many boutiques Louisville has.

Who is your fashion icon, and why?

Icon is a pretty big word. I don’t know that I could name just one person that I always look to. I have been very impressed with Kate Middleton’s fashion choices, and I think Jennifer Aniston has great style (or maybe a great stylist). If I could combine their wardrobes into one, that would be ideal.

Do you have any fashion rules?

I joke that my life motto is, “I don’t believe in flats.” I only own two or three pairs, and I almost never wear them. Everyone looks better in heels. My cover photo on Facebook is proof of this motto!
