The Woman’s Club of Louisville Holiday Extravaganza

| November 15, 2012

The Woman’s Club of Louisville hosted a Holiday Extravaganza on Nov. 7 at its clubhouse, 1320 S. Fourth St., to benefit the Heuser Hearing and Language Academy along with the Salvation Army Culinary Program.

The day-long event, themed “A visit back to the Victorian era,” included shopping, a luncheon and an evening extravaganza with wine, bourbon and hors d’oeuvres.

The Voice-Tribune’s Angie Fenton and Ashley Anderson emceed the event.

This year, The Woman’s Club is working with The Salvation Army’s Culinary Training Program, which has enlisted the assistance of Louisville chefs Agostino Gabriele of Vincenzo’s and Geoffrey Heyde from the Village Anchor to serve as mentors to Salvation Army chefs in training.
