The St. Patrick’s Parade

A large crowd, mainly dressed in shades of green, flocked to the Highlands on March 9 for Louisville’s second largest parade, the 40th annual St. Patrick’s Parade.
The public procession began at Broadway and Baxter and continued down Bardstown Road to Mid-City Mall. Nearly 125 units marched down the street to celebrate the St. Patrick’s Day holiday.

This year’s theme was “Forty Shades of Green.” The Ancient Order of Hibernians annually sponsor the St. Patrick’s Parade.
