The Kentucky School Of Art Fundraiser
The Kentucky School of Art was founded in 2009 and has been affiliated with Spalding University since 2010.
On May 29, Owsley Brown III hosted a fundraiser for the school, complete with 200 guests and a black tie dinner at the Hadley House on Story Ave., which is owned by Brown. A garage was converted into a student art gallery, and the evening was complete with a silent auction of the art. The party was attended by school supporters, staff, faculty and students, as well as community leaders such as Greg Brown and John Yarmuth.
