The Academy of St. Andrews Closing Ceremony

| June 13, 2011

Students at The Academy at Saint Andrew’s marked the closing of the school’s first year with a musical performance on May 26.

Students, most of whom are on the autism spectrum, communicated through pantomime and song and delighted family and staff with their accomplishments.

The master of ceremonies was a young boy who at the beginning of the school year would retreat to a corner of his classroom and rock back and forth.  The performance was followed by lunch and play activities.
