Sixth Annual Sushi in the City

| March 14, 2013

Family Scholar House hosted its sixth annual Sushi in the City on March 5 at The Henry Clay.

In a new twist on the classic event, Louisville chefs presented sushi-inspired dishes, incorporating a product from Bourbon Barrel Foods. Participating restaurants included Mayan Cafe, Varanese, Marketplace at Theater Square and Comfy Cow.

The event also featured Little Black Dress Vodka and a silent auction. Ashley Anderson of The Voice-Tribune emceed the event.

Family Scholar House’s mission is to end the cycle of poverty by giving single-parent students the support they need to earn a four-year college degree.
