Salsa, Soul, Sushi, & Samosas
Greater Louisville International Professionals partnered with various professional associations of Louisville to host “Salsa, Soul, Sushi, & Samosas” at the Louisville Palace July 7. The event featured an evening of salsa dancing with Grupo Ache and international music by DJ Maxik, as well as a range of worldly appetizers from local restaurants.
Guests enjoyed an inclusive and fun environment that gathered all of the organizations’ diverse membership together for networking, collaborations, dancing and celebrating the community. The aim of the event was to build bridges among the many unique professional backgrounds, thinking styles, ethnicities and cultures in Louisville.
Some of the proceeds from “Salsa, Soul, Sushi, & Samosas,” sponsored by Brown-Forman, LG&E and Papa John’s, will fund scholarships for minorities.
