Race For Grace

Ray Lewis, two-time Super Bowl champion with the Baltimore Ravens, served as guest speaker of the annual Race for Grace, held April 29 in Millionaires Row at Churchill Downs.

At the dinner, Lewis shared stories about his redemption through his Christian faith. He is founder of the Ray Lewis 52 Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing assistance to disadvantaged youth.

Hall of Fame jockey Pat Day and other horse racing notables also attended the event, which was emceed by Jackie Hays, former WAVE 3 news anchor. The evening included musical entertainment plus a live and silent auction.

Proceeds benefited the Kentucky Race Track Chaplaincy, an interdenominational Christian ministry serving workers at Kentucky’s race tracks and horse training centers.
