Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K Walk

More than $200,000 was raised for the fight against breast cancer at the American Cancer Society’s 15th annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K walk Oct. 28.

The inspiring event began at Waterfront Park, where members of the community convened to honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors, educate women about the importance of early detection and prevention, and raise money to fund life-saving research and support programs to further the progress against the disease.
