Louisville Slugger unveiled an all-new bat and logo, marking a new era for the 129-year-old baseball bat maker, on April 1 at the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory.
Making its debut the morning after Major League Baseball’s Opening Day, the innovative Louisville Slugger bat is manufactured with high-grade wood, processed to enhance the surface’s hardness and is designed to be harder than previous models, leaving it less likely to splinter. Along with the bat, the new Louisville Slugger logo will appear on equipment bags, catcher equipment and gloves.
Commemorative mini-bats were given to the fist 300 attendees of the April 1 unveiling. Louisville Slugger also rolled out its new logo with a “Leave Your Mark” campaign on its website, Facebook page and Twitter account. Visit www.slugger.com for more information.
