Louisville Orchestra’s 75th Anniversary

| September 13, 2012

After more than a year of silence, the storied Louisville Orchestra once again filled the Kentucky Center with live symphonic music. The orchestra kicked off its landmark 75th anniversary at Fanfara on Sept. 8. The evening began with cocktails on the observation deck of the Humana Building, followed by a ribbon cutting to open the show and a statement by Mayor Fischer. A special moment came at intermission, with a Korbel Champagne toast to celebrate the orchestra’s anniversary.
