Louisville LGBT Film Festival
In partnership with the Kentucky Fairness Alliance, the second installment of Louisville’s LGBT Film Festival took place Aug. 16-19 inside the University of Louisville’s Floyd Theater.
The festival brought international, national and regional films that promote the awareness, acceptance and appreciation of diversity within the LGBT community or showcase LGBT writers, producers, directors and/or actors. A Juror Award and Audience Award was given to the best short, documentary and feature.
Filmmakers, including country singer and gay rights activist, Chely Wright, made appearances at the event. The University of Louisville’s Red Barn also hosted a kick-off party Aug. 16.
