Louisville Concours d’Elegance

Many of the most well-known names in the car collector community traveled to Churchill Downs to showcase some of the rarest, most elegant and historic vehicles in the country during the fifth annual Louisville Concours d’Elegance, held Oct. 5-7. Run by the Children’s Hospital Foundation, the weekend-long event featured marques Cadillac and Porsche Racing, along with a selection of historic collector cars on display. Fifteen judged classes were included in the Concours, as well as three special exhibition classes. The Concours also offered VIP facilities, refreshments and entertainment, an automotive artist exhibit, a “Kids and Cars” tent and other attractions. Kosair Children’s Hospital, Kentucky’s only full-service, free-standing children’s hospital, was the Concours’ benefiting charity.
