Kentucky Derby Day
The largest crowd in Derby history – 164,858 – came out to Churchill Downs for the 137th running of the Kentucky Derby on May 7.
Jockey John Velazquez rode Animal Kingdom to a 2 3/4 length win for trainer Graham Motion and owner Team Valor.
Countless celebrities walked the red carpet and then found time to mingle with Louisvillians.
