Helping Henryville & Beyond At Wick’s

| March 18, 2012

Wick’s Pizza Parlor & Pub in New Albany, Ind., and owner Michael Wickliffe hosted the Helping Henryville & Beyond: A Benefit for All of Southern Indiana on March 9.

All cover charges were donated to local families affected by the recent tornadoes.

Bands included Jefferson Tarc Bus, Eight Inch Elvis, 2nd Day Romans, Lindsay Lane & Axis, Black Magic Marker, Midnight Radio, Lucky 13, C.M.N., Tom & Phil, Indiana Joe & The Congas of Arrow and The Moon Dogs.

During the event, Wick’s General Manager Adam Underwood offered to don a prom dress and shave off his beard if attendees anted up at least $300 (they did). Market Street Barber’s Master Stylist Jay White did the honors, before offering up his own facial fur for charity. Both of the bare-faced fellas say the public shearing was well worth it.
